Why drive when you can ride? Bikepacking offers the freedom of a road-trip with the mentality of a backpacking trip. Hop on the stationary or pull your bike out of storage for a bit of training, because you'll want to get in shape for these three amazing bikepacking itineraries!

The Alpine Loop, Colorado

Let's start close to home with the 80 mile Alpine Loop in Silverton, Colorado. This high country 4x4 road takes in some of the most impressive scenery in the Lower 48. The Alpine Loop, which is primarily used by four-wheelers, isn't technical, but includes some epic climbs up to 12,500 ft. and plenty of high-altitude exercise. Don't worry, the views are worth every drop of sweat!

Oregon Coast, Oregon

Needless to say, the Pacific Northwest is gorgeous. Why not enjoy 380 miles of the Oregon coastline from the seat of your bicycle? Most cyclists take 5-6 days to complete the route, which follows the fabled Highway 101. There are plenty of campsites along the way, making this an affordable week vacation!

The Cairngorms Loop, Scotland

Take in the rugged Scottish highlands while circumnavigating the UK's largest national park. This off-road bikepacking trip is 181 miles long and is on unpaved tracks nearly the entire way. This route is best for experienced mountain bikers, as you'll find yourself on steep single tracks in remote, rugged terrain.
Insider's tip: Some of our customers use eNZees Foot Soother to prevent rash inside their cycling shorts. Give it a try on your next ride!
